A Bookful of Hope is seeking detail-oriented Accounting & Payment
Processing Volunteers to help support the organization’s financial
recordkeeping and payment tracking. This role helps ensure accurate
documentation of donations, program fees, and financial transactions that
support our educational programs.
The volunteers will assist with maintaining organized financial records while supporting transparency and accountability within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Record and track incoming donations and payments
- Assist with maintaining financial records and spreadsheets
- Help reconcile transactions and verify payment records
- Support organization of financial documentation
- Assist with generating basic financial summaries or reports
- Help maintain accurate donor or payment records
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Experience with spreadsheets or accounting software is helpful
- Interest in nonprofit financial operations
